Why does the same website perform differently at different times of year?
The platform, template and baseline third-party tools on a dealership website mostly do not change month to month. What changes is what gets asked of them: how many vehicle detail pages exist, how much traffic is arriving, and how many scripts are currently installed and running. A website that handles its ordinary month comfortably can behave differently once any of those three inputs rises at the same time, which is exactly what happens at a handful of predictable points in the dealership year.
This is a structural point about how dealership websites are built, not a claim about any specific dealership's numbers. What a dealership can actually do with this
None of these four windows is a reason to add anything to the website. The useful action is the opposite. Check what is already installed and how it behaves under load before the traffic, the inventory, or a ranking review arrives, while there is still time to act on what a check finds. A checklist built for one of those does not automatically cover the others.
Treating website speed as a year-round calendar item, checked before each of these four windows instead of once annually, is a small scheduling change that costs nothing beyond attention. It does not require new tools, a new vendor relationship, or a new budget line, only a repeatable habit of checking the site's current baseline before a window that is already known, in advance, to raise the odds a problem becomes visible.
